Powerhouse was established to meet the growing demands of a mixture of college students from various denominations attending college away from home and a bulging group of young professionals who were interested in an upbeat style of worship.
Powerhouse Church of God in Christ is a traditional COGIC Church with a contemporary twist.
We have Sunday Morning Prayer and light breakfast at 9:45 a.m., followed by Sunday School at 10:00 a.m.
Each Sunday Morning, the "Hour of Power " (Morning Worship) starts at 11:00 a.m.
Bible Study and Repast take place each Thursday evening at 6:00 p.m.
